The property was in a convenient location but the place needs a makeover and the staff at the shops need replacing. They were rude, grumpy and couldn’t care less.
The tipping system was supposed to drive better service and I can tell you it is mostly not happening. Very disappointed in the food quality, taste and service and it was not only at this property.

The most comfortable bed I have ever had in a hotel. The room was large and very nice, updated bathroom was a plus. Bar/restaurant and pool area was a nice touch to this property

Casa del Mar Lodge: Pet-friendly lodge with free breakfast and free parking. Located on the beach.
The room was spotless, and the staff, especially Mari, was very helpful. The food was excellent, and my room had a breathtaking view. The only downside was that the room lock never worked, which forced us to exit through the window.
